Further, Blackboard Connect has geographically dispersed data centers, client support centers, and has redundant Telco providers to ensure maximum up-time. The data centers used for sending messages are spread across several states, and span all 3 of the interconnects of the nationwide power grid.  Blackboard Connect blends message delivery via the PSTN, VoIP, text messaging through short code, and e-mail to help disperse the load placed upon all of the various pipelines available should there be extreme traffic at either the local or national level or within any given message delivery mechanism.
